Ildar Khalikov on cooperation with the Czech Republic: It is important that our relations continues at a good level

On June 8, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiří Koliba.
The Czech delegation led by Jiří Koliba arrived in Kazan to attend the next meeting of the joint working group on coordination of economic and trade cooperation between the Czech Republic and Tatarstan.
Welcoming the guests, Khalikov noted that such meetings have become a tradition.
"It is important that our relations continue at a good level. I hope that this visit will be another step to expand mutually beneficial cooperation," he said.
Khalikov also expressed his confidence that the meeting of the joint working group and the visit of the Czech delegation in Tatarstan will be effective for both parties.
"We have had a lot of meetings and contacts in industrial, educational and other spheres with the Czech Republic. I am sure that they will begin to yield results in 2015-2016,” he continued.
Khalikov said that the visit of the Czech delegation coincided with a significant event for the republic. Tomorrow, on June 9, 2015, a solemn opening of Innopolis innovative satellite town near Kazan will take place. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend the event.
Ildar Khalikov invited Czech colleagues to take part in the opening of Innopolis. He briefly presented the project, as well as the other most interesting innovative projects being implemented in the republic.
According to Ildar Khalikov, resuming direct flights between Kazan and Prague can also contribute to an increase in tourist flow.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
