Dmitry Medvedev visits Innopolis University and speaks to participants of World Robotics Olympiad

On June 9, Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Kazan to take part in opening of the innovative city of Innopolis and hold a session of the Council for modernization.
Accompanied by Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, and other officials Medvedev looked around the building and spoke to participants of World Robotics Olympiad.
Young engineers from different Russian cities presented their projects in the sphere of robotics.
Dmitry Medvedev wished good luck to participants of the Robotics Olympiad.
Rector of Innopolis University Aleksandr Tormasov made a short presentation of the university. He told about uniqueness of the university, the team of teachers and tasks on development of the university.
The main purpose of the Innopolis University is training of highly professional staff for IT industry.
Medvedev visited student campus, sports complex and other facilities.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
