Delegation of Chinese Parliament attends session of Tatarstan State Council

On June 10, delegation of Chinese Parliament accompanied by Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the 8th session of Tatarstan State Council.
Chairman of Permanent committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China Zhang Dejiang thanked Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin for the warm reception in Kazan. “I was impressed by your beautiful city and nature. I was especially glad to that there are economic growth, consent and harmony in the society under leadership of Rustam Minnikhanov.
Zhang Dejiang noted that he heard about Tatarstan when he was young, and had always wanted to visit the republic. He highly estimated the developed industry of the republic and noted high level of relations between Russia and China.
“We are taking efforts to strengthen friendship and cooperation between Tatarstan and China,” Mr Zhang Dejiang summarized.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
