Rustam Minnikhanov: We will use mechanisms of Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group for cooperation with Islamic world

On June 11, at their meeting in Moscow during the session of Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Iyad Madani discussed further cooperation in Islamic banking and finances, education and organization of hajj.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation with the Islamic world is an important part of foreign economic activity of Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin places special emphasis to it. He reminded that for 10 years Russia has had the observer status in OIC. Today our multi-ethnic country should be integrated in the Islamic world, and maintain its positions considering the current situation.
Rustam Minnikhanov also told about Kazansummit that will be held on June 15-16, 2015 in Kazan.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
