Rustam Minnikhanov meets Managing Director of the JBIC Tadashi Maeda

On June 18, at his meeting with Managing Director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Tadashi Maeda within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the interest in the region and reminded that Tatarstan and the JBIC have already had experience of cooperation and implementation of projects. "We have a positive history of our relations. And it is important to maintain this relationship," he said.
Head of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan Ainur Aideldinov told about the projects in which the JBIC can be involved.
Minnikhanov invited representatives of JBIC to participate in the opening ceremony of the complex for the production of ammonia, methanol and urea in Mendeleevsk.
In his turn Tadashi Maeda also expressed intention to continue cooperation and develop long-term partnership with Tatarstan.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
