Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in plenary session of XIX St. Petersburg international economic forum

On June 19, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of XIX St. Petersburg international economic forum. The session’s motto was Time to Act: Joint Efforts for Stability and Growth.
Russian President Vladimir Putin made a report at the session.
“Russia will be creating free, predictable and transparent conditions for investors, without increasing tax burden. I want to start with increasing the quality of business environment and competitiveness of Russian jurisdiction. Our position consists in providing free, predictable and favourable conditions for investors, in order to make investments in Russia more value-enhancing,” Putin said. He reminded that the authorities made decision to impose moratorium on tax increase for the next four years.
Putin announced another important idea: “The proposal to establish the system of transfer of foreign technologies was made at the recent meeting of Business Russia, one of the main business associations. We have obtained successful experience in transferring technologies in pharmaceutics, automotive industry, and production of consumer goods to Russia. This work should be done on systemic basis using capital of institutes for development.”

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
