Rustam Minnikhanov holds board session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”

On June 29, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a board session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” in Kazan. A number of proposals for different industries were considered.

Head of the laboratory of shungite of the Institute of geology of Karelian research center (Petrozavodsk) Vladimir Kovalevsky and Development Director of OOO “Shungiton” Denis Zubkov told about effective use of shungite stones in metallurgy, construction and chemistry, and medicine. It can be used as a filling material in production of tyres, rubber goods and polymers. Technopark “Shungit” was created to find out innovative areas for using shungite materials. Scientists and businessmen from Tatarstan are also invited to take part in the project.

Director of Yugra research institute of information technologies Aleksandr Zykov told about information interaction of the regional Center of space services and the experience in using results of space activity.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that the work with space images is perspective and asked to study this issue.
