Tatarstan prepares for holding Championship of Europe on bench shooting

The point was on preparation and holding the Championship of the Europe on bench shooting in Kazan (on June 25th - on July 4th, 2010).
We remind that the technical delegate of the championship of the Europe on bench shooting 2010 from the European shooting Confederation (European Shooting Confederation, ESC) Mr. Petros Kiritsis arrived in capital of Tatarstan in the evening on January, 20th. His visit will be prolonged till January, 25th.
His program includes visiting complex of bench shooting ( Verkhneuslonsky, a mountain-skiing sports complex "Kazan"), survey of some hotels for accommodation of participants of competition, participation in session of working group on preparation for the Championship of the Europe on bench shooting.
During a meeting with RT Prime minister organizational questions of preparation for competition were discussed.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, preparation for holding in Kazan University games of 2013 pushed the republic to more active actions regarding construction of a new complex of bench shooting, other sports objects.
Prime minister expressed confidence that inspection visit of Mr. Petros Kiritsis within the limits of preparation for the Championship of the Europe on bench shooting would pass successfully.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
