By opinion of Rustam Minnikhanov, the sphere of recycling and solid household wastes processing can become attractive to business

It is necessary for municipalities to pay special attention on issues of gathering and recycling of solid household wastes (SHW). This was stated today at the board session of RT Ministry of ecology and natural resources by Prime minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
He ascertained that a number of cities in Tatarstan till now have no own infrastructure for recycling SHW. Probably, in this point the help from republic is necessary for them, Rustam Minnikhanov assumed, but municipalities should attend for solving this important problem.
Besides, the sphere of SHW processing should become attractive to business, assured head of the RT government. It is necessary to create environment, which would allow small and medium sized business to occupy this niche. He has suggested RT Committee on development of small and medium sized business to work out this issue.
RT Prime minister also marked that today the inhabitancy of human being influences as a whole quality of life. In sphere of preservation of inhabitancy RT Ministry of ecology is a center of the responsibility, but it is also the work of corresponding supervising bodies, managements of the industrial enterprises, producing harmful emissions in an atmosphere.
One of the points which Rustam Minnikhanov paid attention, - exhaust gases of old cars. As he said, today in the country a plenty of old motor vehicles is imported which exhausts render a serious harm to environment. Decisions at a federal level should be developed, head of the RT government considers.
« We should change mentality of the population, - he told. - the work in this direction should be carried out in close interaction from motor licensing and inspection department which supervises operation of cars ».
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
On 29 December, speaking at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House on issues of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of road services and housing and communal services during the holidays, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin said that during the holidays special attention will be given to providing heat supply to apartment buildings.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
