Rustam Minnikhanov and Maxim Akimov visit Novaya Tura Technopolis in Zelenodolsk region

On July 6, on their way back from Naberezhnye Chelny, where a meeting on the development of single-industry towns was held, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Government Maxim Akimov visited the Novaya Tura (New Tura) Technopolis in Zelenodolsk region.
Along with more than 300 Russian municipalities Zelenodolsk has been included in a special federal list of single-industry towns and the Novaya Tura investment project is an opportunity to diversify its economy.
In April 2015 it was decided to allocate subsidies to Zelenodolsk through the Fund for the development of single-industry towns. An organized industrial and logistics zone, the Novaya Tura Technopolis, is supposed to be established in Zelenodolsk as a model for its modernization. The main purpose of the project is diversifying the economy and avoiding excessive budgetary and social dependency on township-forming enterprises.
Minnikhanov and Akimov were presented the project of development of the Novaya Tura Technopolis.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
