Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in 9th session of Tatarstan State Council

On July 8, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 9th session of Tatarstan State Council.
Certain amendments were made in the Budget Code of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Law “On granting the powers of estimation and granting to budgets of urban and rural settlements from regional fund of financial support”. The relevant law was passed in the first reading today.
According to the law, tax receipts from common useful minerals production tax will be paid to the budgets of municipal regions. It is supposed to increase budget revenues and tax collection.
Chairman of the Committee for budget, taxes and finance Leonid Yakunin told that from January 1, 2016, new powers that were performed by municipal authorities, such as organization of heat, gas and water supply, local roads management, creating conditions for realization of measures of inter-confessional and inter-ethnic concord, and public recreation, will be vested on rural settlements.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
