Rustam Minnikhanov opens a new swimming pool in Aksubaevo

On July 8, in Aksubaevo Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Aksubaevo municipal region Kamil Gilmanov and other officials took part in the solemn opening of a swimming pool “Delfin”.
The new sports facility was being built from November 2013 to June 2015. The building houses two swimming pools (the main one with the size of 25x16 m and a capacity of 36 people per shift and children’s pool with the size of 9x6 m and a capacity of 14 people per shift).
The Delfin swimming pool with a total area of 3185 square meters is equipped with spectator stands for 50 seats, a café, locker rooms with showers, three saunas, massage and training facilities, auxiliary facilities.
Speaking at the event, Gilmanov said that currently Aksubaevo region is rapidly developing both economically and socially. He reminded that over the past few years Aksubaevo region has brought up several candidates for master of sports.
Gilmanov also expressed his confidence that after the opening of the pool local dwellers will achieve success in water sports.
Minnikhanov noted the importance of the opening of the pool in the region. "People should take care about their health and do exercise. It is important that such facilities open not only in our capital and in major cities, but also in the regional centers,” he said.
Minnikhanov handed in a certificate for 100 thousand roubles to management representatives of the new sports facility.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
