9 July 2015, Thursday
On July 9, at his meeting with heads of Tatarstan oil companies in Bugulma region (the Republic of Tatarstan), Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that the 15th oil summit became an effective site for discussing topical issues of oil industry.

Minnikhanov noted that a lot of joint proposals made at such meetings in the sphere of development of tight oil and small deposits were supported on the federal level and would be promoted in other Russian regions.

The Interim President of the republic expressed a high opinion of mobile expositions where Tatneft, RITEK oil companies, TNG group, and Kazan Federal University presented their state-of-the-art technologies. This year students from Almetievsk oil institute, winners of Olympiads and grant holders were invited to the summit for the first time.

According to Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov, who took part in the meeting, was impressed by the exposition and it will be presented at Russian Ministry of Energy for a few weeks.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed that by results of the first half of 2015, 16.6 mln tonnes of oil were produced in the republic (1.2 per cent more than in the previous year). Despite the drop in oil prices at 1.9 per cent, the current taxation scheme enables working in accordance with the planned schedule.
