Rustam Minnikhanov: Innovations will help Tatarstan producing 33 mln tonnes of oil by 2030

On July 9, at his meeting with heads of Tatarstan oil companies in Bugulma region (the Republic of Tatarstan), Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that the 15th oil summit became an effective site for discussing topical issues of oil industry.
Minnikhanov noted that a lot of joint proposals made at such meetings in the sphere of development of tight oil and small deposits were supported on the federal level and would be promoted in other Russian regions.
The Interim President of the republic expressed a high opinion of mobile expositions where Tatneft, RITEK oil companies, TNG group, and Kazan Federal University presented their state-of-the-art technologies. This year students from Almetievsk oil institute, winners of Olympiads and grant holders were invited to the summit for the first time.
According to Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov, who took part in the meeting, was impressed by the exposition and it will be presented at Russian Ministry of Energy for a few weeks.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed that by results of the first half of 2015, 16.6 mln tonnes of oil were produced in the republic (1.2 per cent more than in the previous year). Despite the drop in oil prices at 1.9 per cent, the current taxation scheme enables working in accordance with the planned schedule.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
