Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”

On July 28, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” at the Government House of the republic. The company Director General Rafinat Yarullin made a keynote report on results of work of Tatarstan gas and petrochemical enterprises at the session. The total production growth rate in oil and petrochemical complex made 1.2 %.

Main petrochemical enterprises gained 28 billion roubles of profit before tax, which is 3.3 times more than in the same period of the previous year. However, the decrease in demand on the part of automotive producers has a negative impact on producers of rubber goods and plastics. In Tatarstan, production of rubber goods decreased by 18 per cent.

The total growth rate of chemical production made 2.7 % to 5.9 % nationwide.

Rustam Minnikhanov asked to analyze the current situation in order to stabilize it. He noted that with the expansion of refining at TANECO plant the range of products will expand, which will have a positive impact on the regional petrochemical industry.

Director of OOO “Alternative fuel systems”, Tolyatti, Aleksei Suchkov told about the use of gas-engine fuel. The company created its own fleet of taxis running on gas-engine fuel and developed prototypes of Lada Largus gas engine cars. The speaker expressed his intentions to cooperate with Tatarstan in this sphere.
