Rustam Minnikhanov: All Universiade sport objects will be commissioned in 2010, except 4.

It is planned to commission almost all sport objects of World summer Universiade 2013 except for village of games, football stadium with capacity 45 000 people, Palace of water sports, rowing channel. This was said by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov at final board session of RT ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism in Kazan.

By words of Head of RT government Kazan is aggressively preparing for holding Universiade 2013 as far as sport infrastructure is concerned. Due to efforts of RT President Mintimer Shaimiev works in transport sector are under way. This year implementation of serious projects has been started.

Still Prime Minister claimed unpreparedness of hotels and other service organizations for receiving foreign guests of World student games in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov suggested reorganizing the system of staff training in service sector in academic institutions of republic, sending people for training and retraining to World leading centres by republican grant program “Algarysh”.

Rustam Minnikhanov dwelled on the problems of youth employment, providing housing for young families and children summer holidays. He supported the idea of holing youth innovative forum in Tatarstan.

RT Prime Minister considers it is essential to attract the youth for realizing projects on preparing for Universiade 2013.

Rustam Minnikhanov told likewise about significant results of activity of RT ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism in 2009. “Sport achievements, realization of federal projects such as “Univesiade 2013” made our republic more well-known to the world. This would not be possible without enormous support at all levels of federal power.

Upon finishing work of the board, the awarding of branch employees was held. Thus, Deputy of State Duma of Russia, Deputy Chairman of Committee of physical culture and sport Ildar Gilmutdinov was awarded with title “Honoured worker of physical culture of Republic Tatarstan”. The most distinguished ones were presented with letters of thanks of RT Cabinet and letters of commendation of Ministry of sport and tourism of Russia.
