Airat Farrakhov: “Tatarstan holds the 2nd place in Russia in financing high technologies”

In 2010, Republic of Tatarstan has been included into federal vascular program financed from federal budget in sum 236 mln. roubles. Head of RT Ministry of healthcare Airat Farrakhov said at the ministry’s session. RT First vice-premier Ravil Muratov and Chief sanitary inspector of Russia Gennady Onishenko took part in work of a collegium.

Last year, RT Ministry of healthcare paid serious attention to development of hi- tech medical aid. High- technology medical aid is rendered by 9 institutions of health care of RT in 19 specializations and 106 types. In 2009 19216 patients got high- technology medical assistance.

“We have managed to double volumes of federal financing high- technology medical aid, include new institutions and additional types of assistance. Republic holds the 2nd place by volume of financing high-technology medical aid in Russia.” - Airat Farrakhov stressed.

This year Republic is included into federal vascular program with financing from federal budget in sum 236 mln. roubles. It will help to change old high- technology medical equipment in number of centres.

RT Minister of healthcare said that from January 2010 the 9th vascular centre in RKB started its work. The Ministry plans to launch the 10th centre in Zelenodolsk this year, in 2011- in Bugulma and Elabuga. Within short period of functioning vascular centres, the death rate from strokes decreased 17 % in RT.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
