Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobiev arrives in Kazan

On August 14, at Kazan international airport Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of Moscow Oblast Andrey Vorobiev who arrived on a working trip in Kazan.
During his working trip Andrey Vorobiev is to get familiar with infrastructure of Universiade village, to visit Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and to assess living conditions in one of the dwelling houses of Universiade village.
He will also have a meeting with Interim President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov on issues related to further interregional cooperation. An agreement between Tatarstan and Moscow Oblast on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation is expected to be signed during the meeting.
In the second half of the day the delegation from Moscow Oblast will visit IT- park, technopark “Himgrad”, educational and laboratory campus of the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology of Kazan Federal University and regional engineering center of medical simulators “Center of medical science” (Eidos).
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
