Rustam Minnikhanov: Leninogorskneft Oil and Gas Production Board is still a leading division of Tatneft Oil Company

On August 22, speaking at the event dedicated to 60th anniversary of Leninogorsk town and 70th anniversary of Leninogorskneft Oil and Gas Production Board, Interim President of Tatarstan Republic said that Leninogorskneft Oil and Gas Production Board is still a leading division of Tatneft Oil Company. Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Shafagat Takhautdinov, head of Leninogorsk region Ryagat Khusainov, Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Nail Maganov and other officials participated in the event. The ceremony took place in the stadium of reconstructed sports center “Yunost” situated in Leninogorsk town.
Before the ceremony Rustam Minnikhanov got familiar with cycling park “Yashlek” and was presented a project of a park designed for wakeboarding in Blue Lake (Leninogorsk).
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated oil industry specialists and Leninogorsk citizens with the two anniversaries. He noted that the town has changed greatly: modern social facilities and healthcare institutions have been constructed, town environment has been improved.
Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude to local authorities, veterans of oil industry, leadership and personnel of Leninogorskneft Oil and Gas Production Board. “70 years ago the oil was discovered in our region. What would we have done without it? We would not have had such opportunities and potential as we have nowadays. Oil industry is a leading one in the republic, and the situation will not change in the future. We have enough technologies so that Tatarstan will remain Russia's oil-producing region over the next 100 -200 years. Thanks to oil-producing industry, major petrochemical and rubber tire producing enterprises are located in Tatarstan. Developing its production, the Tatneft remains socially-oriented,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.
In conclusion, Rustam Minnikhanov awarded the state titles of honor and medals “For Valorous Labour” to Tatarstan citizens. In addition, Head of Leninogorsk region Ryagat Khusainov and Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Nail Maganov congratulated the people on the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
