Budget of Kazan Festival of Muslim Cinema to make 14 million roubles

On August 25, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin said that the budget of Kazan Festival of Muslim Cinema to be held on September 5-11 will make 14 million roubles.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the festival will be held at the Kamal Tatar Academic Theater.
According to Sibagatullin, a large area in front of the theater can also be used to hold various events during the festival.
As many as 735 applications from more than 50 countries have been submitted this year, with 51 films in the festival programme.
Art Director of the festival Albina Nafikova said that the films will reflect two topics - problems of immigrants and women. Films about the Great Patriotic War and its heroes will be shown separately.
The main films will be shown at the Rodina, Mir, Kinomax cinemas and other public venues. Russin Oscar-Winning Director Vladimir Menshov will chair the jury.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
