Rustam Minnikhanov “It is important to hold Tatarstan petrochemical forum at a high level”

On August 26, speaking at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding General Director of the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Lev Semenov said that a total number of participants of the Tatarstan petrochemical forum will make more than 1.6 thousand people. A solemn opening of the forum will be held in the Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center on September 2.
Interim President of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a meeting at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.
Semenov said that the forum will traditionally hold three trade fairs: Oil, gas and petrochemicals, Eco-technologies and equipment of the 21th century, GEO-KAZAN: Exploration, geodesy, cartography. The exposition will be located in three exhibition pavilions and open areas with a total area of about eight thousand square meters. As many as 201 enterprises from 40 Russian cities and 22 countries, including 50 companies from Tatarstan will take part in the event. Russian manufacturers represent about 50 per cent of the exhibition.
According to the speaker, an international exhibition, Interplastica Kazan, will held within the framework of the forum will host for the first time. “This is an event for the plastics and rubber industry of Tatarstan and the Volga region," he explained.
On September 2, a visit of representatives of the world largest exhibition group, Messe Düsseldorf is expected in the framework of the event. It is planned to discuss prospects for further cooperation between Messe Düsseldorf and Tatarstan, organization of the republic exposition at the international exhibition in 2016 in Dusseldorf and presentations of potential for companies the republic is interested in.
Also, a delegation of a Harbin corporation, Gunda, will become the guests of the forum. "It is recognized as one of the three largest export corporations in China. The total amount of its revenues is 30 billion Yuan. Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center were built with participation of the investment corporation. The corporation is interested in co-investment construction of infrastructure facilities of a new international exhibition center, Kazan Expo," General Director of Kazanskaya Yarmarka said.
This year, Tatarstan petrochemical forum will be attended by federal authorities and delegations of the Russian regions and CIS countries, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of major Russian oil companies: LUKOIL, Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, Rosneft, Sibur Holding, and others. Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and Chairman of the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry Belneftekhim Igor Lyashenko, and others will take part in the forum for the first time.
Five thematic conferences and two round tables will be held on the first day.
"A new drilling rig will be presented on September 3. This is a new generation of drilling rigs for construction of inclined and vertical wells for extraction of hard hydrocarbon reserves," Semenov informed the participants.
In his turn Minnikhanov instructed to organize and conduct Tatarstan petrochemical forum at the highest level, noting that he will also participate in the event.
"It is important to hold this forum at a high level. Please, provide all the necessary stuff for its organization. It is necessary to pay attention to the content part: round tables and meetings should be informative useful. We also should ensure presence of students, professionals, maximum number of visitors," he concluded.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
