Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates citizens of Tatarstan on All-Russia holiday “Knowledge Day”
1 September 2015, Tuesday
Dear friends!
I congratulate pupils, students, parents and teachers, and all workers and veterans of the education industry on Knowledge Day and the beginning of new academic year!
The 1st of September is our national holiday that has a deep social and personal meaning. One day we all went to school for the first time and we remember our first teacher. Thousands of children experienced these unforgettable moments today and became a part of the school family.
Education and cutting-edge knowledge have always been important for our multi-ethnic society. Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in the sphere of education in Russia known for its major universities and research centers. Training of qualified teaching staff and achievement-oriented youth is our priority task.
By winning the right to host WorldSkills 2019 and International Olympiad in Informatics Tatarstan has proved its successful development. I would like to express my special gratitude to our teachers, professors and workers of pre-school organizations.
Let the new academic year bring the joy of creative achievements and impressions from the trip to a wonderful country of knowledge!
I wish you happiness, peace and wellbeing! Happy Knowledge Day!
