Rustam Minnikhanov attends a solemn event for first-year students at the Kazan-Arena stadium

On September 1, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime-Minister – Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov visited a solemn event for first-year students at the Kazan-Arena stadium.
Singers Filyus Kagirov, Aigul Khairi, Ilnaz Safiullin, Aidar Suleimanov, Alina Sharipzhanova performed in front of many students.
Then rectors of 16 Tatarstan universities addressed first-years students and sang a song with the words “Welcome to the new life”. Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov welcomed the audience.
“You have entered the universities of Kazan – a city famous for its achievements in sports, a cultural center, a city of art and students, education and science,” he said in particular.
"I envy you. We were students too, but rectors did not sing songs for us. You study in the best universities of the republic, live in Kazan, where a lot of interesting events take place. The republic is developing, new projects are launched. We need specialists everywhere, including social and cultural sphere," Minnikhanov said.
"I congratulate you on the Knowledge Day and wish you good luck and success," Minnikhanov said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
