Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of assembly building at Kazan helicopters plant

On September 10, a new assembly building for Mi-8/17, Ansat and Mi-38 helicopters opened at Kazan helicopters plant. It is expected to improve productivity and quality of the products, and ensure competitive advantage of Russian helicopters in the global aviation market.
Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Yuri Borisov, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Aleksandr Neradko, Director General of Russian helicopters holding Aleksandr Mikheev, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, and Director General of Kazan helicopters plant Vadim Ligai visited Kazan helicopters plant which celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that he is always glad to visit the plant and see its achievements.
“Kazan helicopters plant is a major budget revenue generating enterprise today, with the revenue of 54 bln roubles. The plant takes part in formation of the regional budget as well as in all social projects of the republic,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He congratulated workers of the plant on the anniversary and wished wellbeing and prosperity.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
