Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov is going to take part in ceremony of opening assembly factory of “KAMAZ” heavyweights in India

Delegation of Republic Tatarstan headed by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov will leave for India today, on February, 24.

The main purpose of the visit is participation in ceremony of opening assembly factory of “KAMAZ” heavyweights. The ceremony will be held on February, 25 on the territory of Bangalore Palace (Bangalore city, India).

By words of Aide to prime minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Mouflikhanov the assembling will be realized by joint enterprise “KAMAZ Vectra motors Ltd.”

“Vectra” company is a joint British – Indian company with good working area (Hosur city, Tamil Nadu state) and experience in automobile business.

Current capacity of assembling production is estimated as 2500 cars per year (such volume is planned to be reached in 2012). Plans for 2010 – 1000-1200 cars. Maximum possible production volume – up to 5000 cars per year.

Director General of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, Director of “Vectra group” company Mr Rishi and representatives of regional management of India will take part in ceremony of opening assembly plant of “KAMAZ” automobiles in India.
