Rustam Minnikhanov hands over order “Duslyk” to Mintimer Shaimiev

On September 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga federal district Mikhail Babich, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov, and distinguished guests, who took part in the ceremony of assumption of the office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the museum of history and statehood of the Tatar people and the Republic of Tatarstan at the Kazan Kremlin.
Later on the same day, the guests took part in the ceremony of handing over the order “Duslyk” to the first president of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev. The state award was established in April this year.
On August 19, Interim President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree on awarding the order “Duslyk” to Mintimer Shaimiev for his special merits in strengthening international authority of the republic, considerable contribution to preservation, revival, and promotion of historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Tatarstan, and his active public work.
Mintimer Shaimiev thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the award and congratulated him on assuming the office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
