Ildar Khalikov elected Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan

On September 25, at its 10th session the Tatarstan State Council appointed Ildar Khalikov for the position of Prime Minister of the republic.
Earlier, his candidacy was introduced for consideration by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Rustam Minnikhanov who noted that Ildar Khalikov is an experienced politician and Tatarstan Government represents an effective administrative team.
Tatarstan President continued that the republic will face new challenging tasks stipulated by the Strategy-2030, and measures on their realization will be developed by new Cabinet of Minister of the republic.
Speaking at the session, Ildar Khaikov noted that social and economic policy of the republic is aimed at improving the quality of life of population and ensuring sustainable economic development. Due to this approach and systemic work Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in Russia, with substantial potential and human capital.
He continued that the Strategy-2030 implies the increase of GRP, industrial and agricultural production by 1.8 times, the increase of retail turnover by 1.9 times, and capital investments by 1.7 times.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
