Rustam Minnikhanov holds board session of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding

On September 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a board session of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding, where a number of investment projects for implementation in the republic were presented.
Adviser to Director General of AO “RT-Khimkoposit” (a part of Rostec holding) Srrgey Ryabykh told about projects to be implemented in cooperation with Tatarstan.
First of all, it was offered to launch production of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene at Kazanorgsintez chemical company. This material is used in different spheres, for example production of bulletproof jackets, and it was included in the list of import-substituting products.
Another project suggests production of 4-generation gas tanks using polymeric composite materials at Specialized Economic Zone “Alabuga”. The tanks have high strength and low gas permeability, and are four times lighter than metal gas tanks.
Among other projects are advanced processing of flax into fibre and high quality cellulose, and creation of the Center of small-tonnage chemistry for the purpose of import substitution along the whole chemical processing chain.
Professor of Kazan national research technological university Yakov Samuilov reported on wide opportunities of carbamide application.
Eugen Martens, Director Russian Activities at Hager + Elsässer told about water treatment technology and sewage water treatment.
Rustam Minnikhanov was interested in the presented projects as they would be of practical importance for the region’s economy.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
