Rustam Minnikhanov hands over International award named after A.N.Tupolev to professor Evgeny Kablov

On November 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over International award named after A.N.Tupolev to Doctor of technical sciences, professor, member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Director general of All-Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials Evgeny Kablov.

The awarding ceremony took place at the Governor’s Palace of the Kazan Kremlin.

The International award named after A.N.Tupolev in the sphere of engineering sciences was established by Tatarstan President’s Decree in November of 2014 for the purpose of further development of engineering sciences in the republic, encouragement of scientists for their outstanding works, discoveries and inventions in the sphere of engineering sciences and to perpetuate the memory of the founder of Russian aircraft construction, aircraft designer Andrei Nikolaevich Tupolev.
