Ildar Khalikov: We have established trust and constructive relations with leaders of the Muslim and Orthodox communities

On November 25, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a signing ceremony of an agreement on cooperation between Cabinet of Ministers and Spiritual Muslim Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Tatarstan metropolitan of Russian Orthodox.

Khalikov stressed that the document is signed for the first time in the history of Tatarstan.

The state and traditional religions have a lot of common interests and areas for mutual service to the community as well as common problems to solve in many spheres, including health, education of the younger generation, etc.

According to Khalikov, the regional leadership has established trust and constructive relations with leaders of the Muslim and Orthodox communities

He emphasized that the agreement will make it possible to continue the constructive dialogue between the executive authorities of the republic and Spiritual Muslim Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Tatarstan metropolitan of Russian Orthodox.
