Rustam Minnikhanov visits the first house in the residential complex “Salavat Kupere”

On December 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, CEO of the Presidential State housing fund Talgat Abdullin, Director General of OAO “TAIF” Albert Shigabutdinov visited the first house in the residential complex “Salavat Kupere”.
The large-scale construction of “Salavat Kupere” complex that occupies the area of 360 hectares started in Zalesny district on May 15, 2014. It is expected that 1.5 mln square metres of housing for 50, 000 people will be built there. The project also implies construction of 22 kindergartens, 7 schools, and new roads.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that organizing comfortable housing conditions for citizens is one of priority tasks of the regional leadership.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
