Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan should use the experience of Qatar in the sphere of oil and gas processing

On December 15, at a board session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic should use the experience of Qatar in the sphere of oil and gas processing, and briefly told about his recent visit to this country.
He noted that Kamskie Polyany township (Nizhnekamsk region, Tatarstan) shows a good example of successful development of petrochemical cluster.
Minnikhanov also reminded about the creation of new processing enterprises, construction of TANECO complex, and rubber mixing complex by KVART company that entered new product markets due to increasing its competitiveness.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
