Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: “Ak Bars” should become a universal major bank of federal level

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in annual general meeting of “Ak Bars” bank shareholders in hall of youth centre “Ak Bars” (Kazan).

Speaking to shareholders and participants of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov assessed the work of “Ak Bars” bank and reminded that the bank has successfully passed through two economic crises for the period of its existence (1998, 2009).

By words of Tatarstan President “Ak Bars” bank was and is still the main one in republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov considers that among the priorities for today are small and medium enterprises, organization of work and rendering services for clients - physical persons.

Addressing chairman of RT National bank Evgeny Bogachev Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that it is the National bank that is responsible for well-organized work of the whole banking system in republic.

Today we put the tasks for “Ak Bars” bank, which are difficult to be realized without proper support of National bank, Tatarstan President said. That is why leadership of republic, National bank and “Ak Bars” bank should work in a well-coordinated way.

“Our purpose is to make “Ak Bars” bank a universal l major bank of federal level to realize the tasks of the republic”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
