Rustam Minnikhanov: We should increase purchasing efficiency to the maximum

On January 28, at a summary session of the Tatarstan state procurement committee, Head of the committee Olga Redko said that under the federal laws №44 and №223 purchases for the sum of 237,5 bln rubles were made in the republic in 2015.  

The total number of customers was more than 8, 000, and the number of suppliers – more than 33, 000. About 60 per cent of suppliers, who won tenders in 2015, were local producers.

Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov presented the project of regional information system that is integrated with the portal of state purchases aimed at controlling the expenditure of budgetary funds. The system is expected to increase transparency and efficiency of the purchasing process in the republic.

Commenting on the project, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the purchasing system should be improved, and some agencies already have certain experience in this sphere.
