Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a meeting of the working group for regional aspects of sport infrastructure development and use

June 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is in Moscow where he is taking part in the meeting of the working group for regional aspects of the development and use of the sport infrastructure of the Council under the Russian President on development of physical education and sport, sport at the higher competitive level, preparation for the 22nd Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 and the 27th World Summer Universiade in Kazan in 2013.

The meeting of the working group is chaired by Viktor Basargin, the Russian Minister of Regional Development.

Rafis Burganov, the Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism, is supposed to deliver a report on the preparation for the World Summer Universiade 2013, construction of large sport venues (the rowing canal, the football stadium seating 45 thousand visitors, the Universiade Village) and the development of Kazan’s transport component.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
