RT President Rustam Minnikhanov held session of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Directors board

RT President - chairman of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Directors board Rustam Minnikhanov held session of the enterprise’s Directors board. Participants approved working plan of Directors board for 2010-2011, heard presentation of ZAO “St. Petersburg International Commodities Exchange”. Later on Head of group of consultative support UOP LLC Yury Shishorin presented for consideration by members of Directors board preliminary calculations of the project “Grounds of investments into construction of complex for producing olefins from natural gas on the basis of JSC “Kazanorgsintez” (implemented by corporation Honeywell).

By words of Yury Shishorin there are no such large-capacity complexes in the world, thus its construction may become a breakthrough project for Russia. Yury Shishorin thinks that the project may be the part of conception of developing gas-chemical complex of Tatarstan. By preliminary calculations volume of investments for constructing such complex makes 2,8 bln. US dollars.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the project needs more detailed calculations. He offered to continue cooperation between JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” and Honeywell company.

Director of NPK NPP “APATEK” (Moscow) Andrey Ushakov presented the project of using glass-fibre plastic in construction and road economy. Tatarstan President called this area of activity a perspective one. By his words JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” and NPK NPP “APATEK” should discuss variants of closer cooperation.

Rector of Kazan state technological university - National research university of chemistry and technology of perspective materials German Diakonov presented conception of university development in 2010-2020 years.
