Rustam Minnikhanov again became Head of JSC “Tatneft” Directors board

Annual meeting of JSC “Tatneft” shareholders was held in Almetyevsk under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Director general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov reported on company’s activity in 2009. “Last year appeared to be the checking on economic stability for “Tatneft” under conditions of world crisis. Results of enormous purposeful work carried out within previous years on financial strengthening and improvement of corporate management allowed to bear all challenges in a proper manner and continue realizing strategic goals on stabilization and increasing volumes of profitable oil and gas production, expansion of resource base and product line diversification.

Consolidate rate of the company including oil production in Samara and Orenburg oblast made 26,106 mln. tons. Company also carries out search and survey of oil and gas fields in Kalmykia, Ulyanovsk oblast, Nenets autonomous district. By assessment of consulting firm «Miller and Lents» reserves of “Tatneft” for the beginning of 2010 made 862 mln. tons of oil.

Shareholders elected new Directors board. It consists of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Minister of land and property relations Azat Khamaev, RT Minister of finance Radik Gaizatullin, Aide to RT President on oil-gas-chemical complex Rinat Sabirov, Adviser of RT President on issues of developing oil and oil-gas fields Renat Muslimov, Director general of Tatarstan state holding JSC “Svyazinvestneftehim” Valery Sorokin. Among independent directors are Director of «Brentcross Ltd.» Marina Voskresenskaya, Managing director of «SGI Group Ltd» Sushovan Gosh, Director of British firm “Waygood Limited” David Waygood.

Top management of “Tatneft” is presented by Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov, his first deputies nail Ibragimov, Nail Maganov, deputies of Director General Vladimir Lavushenko and Rais Khisamov, Head of NGDU “Almetyevneft” Mirgaziyan Taziev.

Rustam Minnikhanov was elected Chairman of Directors board for the 11th time.

Aleksey Pesoshin will fulfill wishes of four kids during the action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes”

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
