On February 29, during his working trip to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met special advisor to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa. The meeting was held at a business breakfast with the participation of Director General of Tatneft PJSC Nail Maganov and Board Chairman of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Vladimir Busygin.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan actively cooperates with Japan and a number of major joint projects, including “Ammoni” plant are implemented in the republic. He added that the Tatarstan delegation consists of representatives of different spheres, economy, industry, IT and medicine, came to take part in a business mission “Trade-industrial dialogue: Russia-Japan”.
The meeting discussed strengthening of cooperation between Tatarstan and Japan in petrochemical industry. Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov took part in a business breakfast with Japanese businessmen.
Denis Manturov briefly told about the development of industrial sector of the country and conditions being created for foreign investors.
