Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in session of Presidium of Russian government

Head of Russian government Vladimir Putin announced that Russian government would support regions suffered from a drought. This was said at the session of Presidium of Russian government. The key issue for discussion was coping with drought consequences.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of other regions badly suffered from drought and abnormal high temperatures attended the session.

Vladimir Putin said that Russia would efficiently use intervention grain fund with 9,5 mln. grain.

The grain should be delivered to livestock and poultry enterprises in necessary volumes without delays, Chairman of Russian government said. By his words today the main task is to maintain livestock production and not allow that cattle stock would decrease.

Agricultural enterprises should feel support, Vladimir Putin said. He requested RF Ministry of agriculture and RF Ministry of finance to provide subsidies for purchasing feed. Vladimir Putin stressed likewise that those regions which had been actively engaged into agricultural insurance would receive support.
