Realization of President’s strategy will make Tatarstan education a branded one

Head of RT Ministry of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov announced at briefing in RT Cabinet that after realization of strategy on developing educational system in RT for 2010-2015 years republican education should become a branded one.

As the minister stressed the strategy of developing educational system in RT which had been presented to Rustam Minnikhanov is planned to be realized within 6 years in three stages. The first 2-year stage will focus on modernization of system of school education. About 25 bln. roubles are required for its realization.

At the meeting with journalists Albert Gilmutdinov defined expected results after realization of strategy on developing educational system in RT for 2010-2015 years, - compliance of educational system with social-economic needs of Tatarstan, increase of efficiency of functioning educational sector and improvement of quality of education.

Besides, authors of strategy count on formation of comfortable environment for learning languages, creation of unified electronic educational space, development of measures on work with talented children, creation of new financial mechanisms of improving quality of pedagogical labor.

Head of RT Ministry of education and science noted that external experts of the strategy had become specialists of World Bank and Moscow higher school of economy. By his words, experts positively assessed president’s strategy upon the whole.

On August,20 the completed variant of strategy will be presented to RT President and public at traditional meeting of republican teachers.
