Rafinat Yarullin: positive growth of oil production in Tatarstan is due to JSC “Tatneft”

Profitability in chemistry and petrochemistry reached 12,4% in the second quarter of 2010 in Tatarstan. This was said today by Director general of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin at a session of directors board. He reported on activity of the enterprise of oil-gas-chemical complex in the first half-year.

Session of Directors board was held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Rafinat Yarullin informed that by and large main enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex in Tatarstan received 44 bln. roubles (profit from sales).

Growth of production and financial results positively influenced social rates of oil-gas-chemical complex, - average level of salaries increased within the last four months to 24,5 thousand roubles. Allocations to consolidated budget by oil-gas-chemical complex has made 11,8 bln. roubles. Such growth happed mainly due to JSC “Tatneft”, JSC “TAIF”, JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim”.

Volume of oil-processing in Russia has made 121 mln. tons for last half-year.

According to Rafinat Yarullin it is planned to draw 63 bln. roubles for project “TANECO” (Complex of oil-processing and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk).

Rafinat Yarullin also told about tendencies of developing world market of polymers that is intensively developing.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov announced that development of oil-gas-chemical complex is a priority issue for republic.

Participants of Directors board session also discussed preparation for yearly international exhibition “Gas. Petrochemistry 2010” that would be held in exhibition centre “Kazan fair” on September, 8-10.
