Head of Russian fishery: Tatarstan has chances to become a fishing capital of Volga district

Head of federal fishing agency Andrey Kraini conducted negotiations on issues of direct deliveries of fish products in the context of his staying in Kazan.

In the event took part RT First deputy prime minister Ravil Muratov, Chairman of JSC “Ak Bars” bank Directors board Robert Musin, Director General of JSC “Holding company “Ak Bars” Ivan Egorov, heads of enterprises - suppliers of fish production from Vladivostok and Murmansk.

During negotiations the parties agreed on supplies of fresh frozen fish in number 4 000 tons to JSC “Kholod”.

By words of Director general of JSC “Holding company “Ak Bars” Ivan Egorov, the signed agreement will stimulate development of fish processing in republic and turn JSC “Kholod” into large operator at the market of fresh frozen fish.

We remind that in first part of the day a solemn ceremony of opening first brand-name shop “Okean” was held in Kazan.

RT First vice-premier Ravil Muratov informed that Tatarstan intends to make serious investments into development of fishery in republic. Tatarstan entered Federal target program on increasing efficiency of using and development of resource potential of fishery complex.
