Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets with member of the FIFA executive committee Chuck Blazer

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chuck Blazer, the member of the FIFA executive committee, at the Kazan Kremlin on August 5.

The working visit of Chuck Blazer to the Tatarstan capital is connected with the bid of the Russian Federation to host the World Football Championship 2018/2022. During the meeting, Chuck Blazer told the Tatarstan President about the agenda he had in Moscow and they discussed issues related the visit to Kazan.

Tomorrow, August 6, the member of the FIFA executive committee will see the Central Stadium, the Track and Field Manege, the training base of the Rubin Football Club and the construction site of the new football stadium.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Minister Rafis Burganov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Iskander Muflikhanov, Director of the Executive Directorate of the Universiade 2013 Vladimir Leonov attended the meeting.
