Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan highly appreciates cooperation potential with Belarus

At the meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko declared that Belarus is ready to provide more help to Russia fighting fires.

“I would like to assure you personally and our friends in your republic that we will make everything to help in this difficult situation. We are ready to provide Russian regions with help we are capable of,” the head of Belarus said. The parties discussed further strengthening and broadening of the mutually beneficial cooperation.

Tatarstan and Belarus plan to restore the pre-crisis turnover level, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky told journalists after the talks in Minsk. Rustam Minnikhanov also said Tatarstan highly appreciates the cooperation potential with Belarus in the petrochemical complex.

Then, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky visited the Multifunctional Culture and Sports Complex Minsk-Arena. “I have not seen anything better yet,” Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his impressions about what he saw.
