Rustam Minnikhanov took part in inter-regional conference of district departments of the party “United Russia” in Volga federal district

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Nizhny Novgorod and took part in inter-regional conference of district departments of the party “United Russia” in Volga federal district “Strategy of social and economic development of Volga region till 2020. Program of 2010-2012 years”.

Chairman of RF Government Vladimir Putin participated in work of the conference. Vladimir Putin learnt about perspective projects of the regions within Volga federal district – winners of the first stage of conference which had been earlier held in Ulianovsk.

Tatarstan delegation was presented by RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin.

Representatives of regions entering into Volga federal district presented perspective investment projects to the leader of “United Russia” – Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin. Thus, 18 projects touch upon development of agro-industrial complex, creation of innovative enterprises, development of automobile production, transport infrastructure, science and education and construction of affordable housing.

Vladimir Putin was told about perspective investment projects of Tatarstan such as biotechnological complex of deep processing of grain and program of developing poultry farming in republic.

RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin presented the project of complex development of the territories within the frameworks of priority national project “Affordable and comfortable housing for citizens of Russia” (construction of satellite town “Zeleny dol”).

Commenting the speech of Marat Khusnullin, Vladimir Putin noted that Tatarstan demonstrates good rates of economic and social development.
