Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and US Ambassador to Russia John Beyrle discuss development of entrepreneurship

September 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with John Beyrle, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Russian Federation.

The meeting was held at the RT House of Government.

Rustam Minnikhanov and John Beyrle discussed issues related to the development of entrepreneurship in the republic, contribution of Tatarstan’s SMEs to the Russian economy. “It is of great importance for us today to create favourable environment for the development of small and medium-sized business. It helps to improve the quality of lifestyle and gives the opportunity to people to gain entrepreneurial skills,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Chairman of the Tatarstan Committee on Small and Medium Business Timur Shagivaleyev attended the meeting.

The US Ambassador to Russia came to Tatarstan to attend a meeting of the Board of Directors of the US Russia Foundation for Economic Advancement and the Rule of Law.
