Rustam Minnikhanov : «Cooperation of Tatarstan with World Bank finds support among people»

Tatarstan continues cooperation with the World Bank in sphere of holding analytical works in different areas. This was stated today by RT President R.N. Minnikhanov during a meeting with vice-president of the World Bank in countries of Europe and Central Asia Philip Le Houerou.

«I hope that every visit by the World Bank delegation would generate new push to our relations, - head of the republic said at the meeting held in RT Cabinet. – We would like to use enormous experience of the World Bank for implementing different projects».

By words of Rustam Minnikahnov, all the projects realized in the republic in cooperation with the World Bank find positive response form the population and federal center.

Head of Tatarstan marked the most successful programs implemented jointly with the World Bank. In particular, this is diagnostic research of higher system of education in Kazan and working of development strategy of higher system education in the republic. Besides, research of level and life quality of Tatarstaners, complex assessment of administrative barriers on the way of entrepreneurship developing in Tatarstan, the project “Municipal business-catrd of Republic of Tatarstan” has been developed and others.

All projects under way and realized ones are very actual in scales of the country as a whole, - Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned – The great work has been carried out especially in sphere of education. For Russia intellectual level, integration in a world educational system – very important factors».

«Experience of the World Bank will be used in implementing our strategic programs/ middle term and long term projects as well», - Rustam Minnikhanov stressed.
