The republican stand presents electronic devices and presentations of the IT-projects which are realized in Tatarstan – ETIS electronic commodity-informational system, providing state services in electronic format, GLONASS +112 system of coordinating resque operation. Tatarstan’s project “Electronic Education” is also presented.
The electronic document turnover for authorities is presented at the screens of new Apple iPad and Apple iPhone 4.
RT Vice-Premier – Minister of Informatization and Communication Nikolai Nikiforov informed Vladimir Putin about the infomat-stand which helps citizens to receive state services in electronic format. 45 such terminals have been set up in Tatarstan so far, 42 of which are in Kazan. Some 100 infomats are expected to be set up by the end of the year.
The Russian Government head got acquainted with the republican project “Laptop to each teacher in the Year of Teachers”. 12,800 teachers have received laptops this year within this project. The “Electronic Education” project potential was also demonstrated.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
