Tatarstan has signed a memorandum of understanding with RSP Architect Planners&Engineers PTE Ltd.

Memorandum on mutual understanding has been signed today between Republic of Tatarstan and company RSP Architect Planners&Engineers PTE Ltd (SingaporeСингапур).

(Kazan, September 27, Tatar-inform). Tatarstan is to collaborate with the Singapore’s RSP Architect Planners&Engineers PTE Ltd in developing an IT village project. The memorandum of cooperation was today signed during a presentation of Tatarstan’s key strategies called Tatarstan In Focus.

The document was signed by the Tatarstan minister of informatisation and communication Nikolai Nikiforov and RSP Architect Planners&Engineers director Lee Tai Kar. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Singapore state minister for trade and industry Lee Yi Shyan took part in the signing ceremony.

While making a presentation of the IT village, Nikolai Nikiforov said the village would tentatively be sited on a space of 1,400 hectares, 35 kilometres from Kazan. The project includes a special plan of constructing comfortable dwelling for IT specialists and building a social infrastructure.

“We expect memorandums of understanding to be signed with global IT vendor companies before the year’s end,” Nikolai Nikiforov noted.
As a whole all this is directed on further development of IT cluster in Republic of Tatarstan.

Further, Nikolai Nikiforov told in detail on project «Electronic Government of Republic of Tatarstan» and about of two techno-parks built in Tatarstan within the federal project «Creation of high-tech techno-parks in Russian Federation – techno-polis «Khimgrad» and IT- park.
