Federal Service of Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision to establish its Training Center at Kazan State Power Engineering University

On May 31, at his meeting with Deputy Head of Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) Alexandr Rybas at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Rostekhnadzor have built systemic and constructive work.

"Largely due to the effective work of our colleagues from Rostekhnadzor, their rigor and efficiency in solving common problems large-scale industrial investment projects are being successfully  implemented in the republic," Minnikhanov said.

"Tatarstan is a developed industrial region with a high level of technological load. Issues of industrial safety, quality of examination and expert training level are a priority for us” he went on to say.

"We welcome measures taken by Rostekhnadzor  to develop the examination system, expert appraisal and step up licensing requirements for expert organizations,” Minnikhanov said. "We attach great importance to the issue of establishing a Rostekhnadzor Training Center at Kazan State Power Engineering University," he added.

Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan Government and regional industrial enterprises will render overall support to implement the project.
