Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: It is necessary to change the situation with school education, otherwise universities will get students with low level of knowledge

Education by the program of RT government grants “Algarysh” is very popular among young people and it will be continued. This was announced by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at III republican forum of “Algarysh” graduates that was held in RT Academy of sciences.
By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, in the process of “Algarysh” program realization all necessary changes are being made. The experience obtained during 5 years is very valuable for Tatarstan.
The main purpose of the program is increasing quality of youth education, training of skilled staff for republican economy, Rustam Minnikhanov said. He added that republic would be still engaged in education and internship of municipal and republican employees within the limits of other programs as well. “Algarysh” is fully dedicated to education of students, post-graduate students, young scientists and teachers.
RT President reminded that the infrastructure for formation of innovative environment had been created in republic, - techno parks, business incubators, project of IT-village in Tatarstan. These establishments should work for higher educational institutions and students.

Program of grants of RT government for training, re-training and internship of citizens in Russian and foreign educational and scientific organizations has been realized since 2006. The program was initiated by Rustam Minnikhanov.
It is the first regional program of this kind in Russia. It solves two important tasks of social and economic development of Tatarstan at the same time: training and support of intellectual elite of republic and satisfaction of needs of republican economy in highly skilled staff.
The program is specially oriented at talented youth. More than 70 % of program budget is yearly invested in training and internship of specialists, post-graduate students and young scientists. The grant covers expenses for education, accommodation, food, study materials, cash and travel tickets.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
